Traffic is returning to normal after the M53 and Kingsway tunnel troubles this morning.
Journeys were extended by nearly two hours for some commuters into Liverpool City centre.
All traffic was stopped from entering the Kingsway tunnel this morning due to a broken down large goods lorry.
Further disruption for commuters is likely following the train strikes taking place tomorrow.
