Liverpool Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram said:  “Massive congratulations! Liam is a team player who has been an invaluable help to me at the Combined Authority. Look forward to working with him, the Mayor and Labour Group to deliver for Liverpool and the wider city region.”

Paula Barker, Liverpool’s MP for Wavertree, said: Congratulations ⁦⁦@liamrobinson24 on being elected leader of Liverpool Labour. I look forward to working with you to deliver for the people of our city. Commiserations to Ruth Bennett & @CllrLizParsons”.
