A woman has been arrested following a car crash at Beacon Primary School in Everton this morning.
Reports were received at around 8:30 this morning from Heyworth Street, where a white Mercedes had crashed into the side of the school building.
A 39-year-old woman from Walton has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and careless driving in connection with the incident.
The roads have been re-opened, and investigations continue for structural damage to the building.
