Sunday saw trans activists gather to protest against gender-critic activist Posie Parker’s ‘Let Women Speak’ campaign.
The protesters largely outnumbered Posie’s followers with huge number of young LGBTQ+ people and allies campaigning in the Knowledge Quarter.
Parker had previously paid for billboards around the Liverpool region in September 2018 objecting to the then-mayor’s support for the trans community.
