The University of Liverpool Film Society is producing a new movie adaptation of an original play that featured at the Edinburgh Fringe festival last year.

‘Bloodsucker’ was written for the stage by Jessie Pots, and performed in Scotland by the university Drama Society.

The screenplay was adapted by Ella-May Dearden, with Film Society students working on the project alongside the support and endorsement of local production company FTB Film.

‘Bloodsucker’ is set to premiere in late 2023.
