Two thriving Liverpool businesses have announced a new partnership.

Hope Street bar Frederik’s is collaborating with local coffee supplier Bean Coffee and celebrated the partnership with free coffees for customers

Being a hub for the Liverpool jazz scene, Frederik’s has always been a popular evening venue, but the launch of their breakfast menu, along with their collaboration with Bean Coffee is sure to make the venue a new staple brunch spot.

Operations manager Oliver Clarke said: “We have customers coming in all week for our jazz nights and we’re busy of a weekend with our disco, but during the daytime we don’t really utilise the space.

“We thought ‘Who can we partner up with in the city to deliver a great coffee offering?’ and Bean are the best in town – it’s a no brainer,” he said.

Bean was founded in 2008 and has since opened 14 locations across the North West, but its first roastery was opened in 2015 in Liverpool and keeping things local is important to Clarke.

“Ours is a family business, we’ve been through plenty of generations of Scousers and we believe in supporting the city – it’s one of the most important parts of our business.”

On top of the partnership with Bean Coffee, Frederik’s were also celebrating the launch of a new breakfast menu.

The menu features a full English, a range of breakfast sandwiches and ‘dippy eggs and soldiers’ that Clarke said “were going down a treat.”
