As a student, you can often find yourself in a financial battle, especially with the cost of living ever increasing – it is now normal to find yourself a little low on cash.

  • As an LJMU student you get FREE entry to all exhibitions with no limit on how many time you can return! You also get 20% off in the Tate café and 10% off in Tate shop with your student ID!

  • LJMU’s Student Life Building is celebrating Chinese New Year in style! Today (January 17) the SLB is hosting a celebration from 12pm-4pm.

The event will be celebrating the Year of the Rabbit with a Chinese culture fair, a free student lunch and a range of performances. This isn’t an event to be missed.

  2. You can book tickets for your favourite shows online, at the box office or on 0151 709 4776.
  3. Take your student card with you when you collect your tickets.

 

Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre

  1. From up to 2 weeks before the day of the performance, call 0151 709 4321 or visit the box office. Let them know you are an LJMU student, how many tickets you would like and when you would like to go (up to 4 tickets per LJMU student)
  2. Take your student card with you when you collect your tickets.

 

Liverpool Philharmonic

FREE selected concert and film tickets

  • Liverpool Waterfront
  • The Liverpool Waterfront is one of the most scenic locations in Liverpool and is full of culture. We recommend going for a scenic stroll from the Royal Liver Birds all the way to the M&S Arena and admiring all the old and breath-taking architecture Liverpool has to offer.

  • Hot Water Comedy Club

 

  • Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club is home to a vast amount of up and coming comedians and they often have shows with around a three to five person line up, it is the perfect night time activity for you and a friend when you are both counting your pennies!

  2. Select the FREE show you want to attend and create a booking, then show up. It’s that easy – and no student ID is required as this offer is available for the public too.
