An all-star line-up of business leaders and celebrity entrepreneurs, including Dragon’s Den star Deborah Meaden and double Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes, are set to appear at a highly anticipated two-day business networking event in Liverpool.

BizX 2024 will be held at ACC Liverpool from 18-19 April and will bring together thousands of business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs from around the world to discuss innovative marketing strategies and cutting-edge technologies to grow their businesses and expand their customer bases.

BizX, formerly The Business Excellence Forum and Awards, or BEFA for short, has been held annually in cities throughout the UK and abroad since 2014.

The event was last held in Liverpool in 2018 and featured business executive and star of The Apprentice Baroness Karren Brady.

BizX 2024 will be presented by TV personality Stephen Mulhern, former host of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

This year’s speaker line-up includes both current and former Dragon’s Den investors, Deborah Meaden and Piers Linney.

Olympic legend Dame Kelly Holmes, who famously won gold medals in both the 800 metres and 1,500 metres at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, will also be in attendance.

Dame Kelly says she is delighted to be speaking at the event and revealed that she has enormous respect for the people of Liverpool and believes that the North West is already a leading business hub in the UK.

“Liverpool and the North West has so much potential for business growth. The city itself has an energy and a drive to succeed when it comes to business.

“My talk is based around mindset and achievement. I hope my story can inspire those attending this exciting event that, by riding out setbacks, whether in life or in business, it can only make you stronger.

The people of Merseyside have the resilience and creativity to do great things in business I believe”.

Other notable speakers include Britain’s Sales Trainer of the Year Andy Bounds, StoryBrand CEO Donald Miller, best-selling author Michael Heppell, ActionCOACH founder Brad Sugars and performance coach Jamil Qureshi.

The BizX website states: “As attendees gather in Liverpool for BizX, they are in for an unforgettable experience. With insights from two dragons, a legendary Olympian, and a host of other influential speakers, the conference is designed to empower attendees to reach new heights of success”.
