Mullets have made an epic comeback in UK fashion. The trend was started by youngsters but the style has spread like wildfire, to the point where people of all ages are rocking the haircut.

The look stems from the 1970s and grew in popularity through the 1980s, which is why TV shows set in the era such as Stranger Things have influenced modern culture.

They’re particularly popular in Liverpool and MerseyNewsLive has been investigating why.
