Scousers of the world unite as today is global scouse day!
The celebration is held annually on February 28.
Cafes and restaurants across the city are serving up the meal to commemorate the Liverpudlian tradition.
Big Life community hub opened its doors to welcome in people of Liverpool and serve them the dish.
Big Life’s services stretch to work with people on all areas of their life and help them with the things that matter most to them first.
Paul Hession, organiser of the event, used his contacts through the Rainbow Toffees – The Everton LBGT Supporters Group – to allow as many people to be served scouse as possible.
The occasion of scouse day at Big Life is aimed at the homeless, giving them a warm dinner and a brew and even a place for them to socialise.
Tiktok star Queen of Scotty Road came down to the support the Big Life event and was the main chef, serving up scouse to everyone.
If you cannot get your hands on some Scouse at places in the city centre today … Maggie May’s and Joey’s offer scouse all year round.
Liverpool City Councillor Steve Radford was also there to support the event. His contacts through several charities in Merseyside allowed communities to be aware of events like this popping up all over the city.
