A series of family events are being held in Merseyside to entertain you and the whole family over the Christmas period.

Firstly, the Aladdin pantomime will be taking place at St Helens Theatre Royal, starring Emmerdale star Liam Fox as Abanazer and Radio City host Leanne Campbell as a digital genie.

The Theatre Royal’s fastest-selling panto yet it is a real crowd-pleaser. Richard Aucott – who plays Widow Twanky – told MNL why to book your tickets: “Have a laugh, have a joke, have a sing song. Just enjoy yourself and forget about all the troubles”.

Meanwhile, the annual Dada celebrations of disability and deaf arts has been taking place across Liverpool venues. On Sunday (December 3) there will be the annual Rushton lecture with guest Ashokkumar D Mistry.
