Liverpool will host the 2023 Northern Transport Summit tomorrow.
The summit, centred around ‘Connecting people and places – levelling up transport’, will take place at the Maritime Museum.
The event will be focussed on a number of key questions, such as “What does the North need to build ‘World Class’ Transport?”.
It will open with talks from Debbie Francis, the 2023 National Transport Summit Conference Chair and David Sidebottom, director of Transport Focus.
The event will include a Transport Leaders Panel, the Northern Business Leaders’ Panel and the Northern Mayors Panel, with current Liverpool City Region Mayor, Steve Rotheram.
The focus of the event will be bridging the North’s connectivity gaps, creating greener travel and ‘levelling up’ Northern transport.
