Three points will be awarded for a victory within the 90 minutes, two for a draw, and one for winning the shootout.

Liverpool’s meeting with Italian Serie A champions Milan will see Divock Origi come up against his former club for the first time, after the forward was omitted from the Belgium squad.

All games will take place at the 15,000-capacity Al-Maktoum Stadium and be shown live on LFC TV.

  • Liverpool will play Lyon first on Sunday December 11 (KO: 2pm GMT) and Milan on Friday December 16 (KO: 3:30pm GMT).
