Everton took on Manchester United last night for the first time this season at Old Trafford. For more than 80 minutes of the match, Everton played with 10 men and managed to take home a win against the red devils at the Theatre of Dreams for the first time since 2013.

Just in the first 13 minutes of the game, the Toffees suffered a blow with club captain Seamus Coleman being substituted due to a hamstring injury and then Idrissa Gana Gueye was sent off after arguing with fellow teammate, Michael Keane.
Just before the half hour mark in the first half, with the help of James Garner, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scores with a right-foot shot into the top of the corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area. The winning and the only goal of the game led Everton to become the first visiting team to win at Old Trafford in the Premier League having had a player sent off.

Dewsbury-Hall told evertontv: “It was a bit of a surreal experience. The picture of the away end will stay in my mind for the rest of my career. It was an unbelievable experience.” Dewsbury-Hall ended up winning his first Man of the Match of the season and his first with Everton.
England manager Thomas Tuchel attended Old Trafford last night and he was seen having a post-match chat in the tunnel with James Garner and Jack Grealish.
David Moyes joked about the mishap between Idrissa Gana Gueye and Michael Keane. He said: “I was quite pleased they were fighting each other because it showed that they cared.” Gana Gueye received a red card for violent conduct where he will receive a three -match ban.
The Toffees take on current Carabao Cup champions Newcastle United at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.
