Around 200 venues in Liverpool are participating in Liverpool Restaurant Week until April 26, offering foodies the opportunity to discover the city plate by plate.

Liverpool Restaurant Week is curated by Liverpool Business Improvement District (BID), with the initiative to support the local hospitality industry and the people behind Liverpool’s famous welcome.
Describing the Liverpool restaurant scene as diverse, creative and community-led, Daisy from Love Lane Brewery said: “The scene in Liverpool is booming, and unlike other cities, Liverpool venues seem to directly compete with each other less here. Venues tend to give each other a leg up, collaborate together, and the fact that there are approximately 200 venues partaking in Liverpool Restaurant Week just shows how much choice there is. There’s space for us all in this city.“
Throughout the week, each of the 200 participating venues offer a dedicated culinary or drink offer for visitors, alongside the opportunity to pick up a “foodie passport” for a chance to win a meal out every week for a year.
Despite knockbacks to the hospitality sector during COVID-19, according to the latest data from Liverpool City Council, almost one in ten jobs in the city belongs to the hospitality sector, with the food and drink industry offering over £322m to the city centre economy.
Daisy added: “There is no secret that Hospitality has taken an absolute battering over the last 5 years. Liverpool Restaurant Week is a chance to offer some cracking deals and boost our revenue over the course of the week. We also try to give back to the community where we can. Scousers and locals alike are incredibly loyal, and we hope that our LRW offers give back to the community by offering high-end gastronomic experiences at great value prices.”
Gastronomic experiences you could indulge in for £35 include: a 3-course offer at The Art School, 3 courses at Wreck Bistro, Afternoon tea for Two at Zenn Liverpool, Afternoon Tea and a glass of prosecco at London Carriageworks and a 3-course menu at Nord.
However, local favourites such as Frederiks, Maray and Big Lola’s are offering deals up to £15 on small plates and bundles.
