who died from cancer in 2007, said they were particularly keen to support organisations

that help other cancer patients and their families.

Grants of up to £15,000 are available to charities operating within Liverpool City Region, Yorkshire, and the Midlands.

The Big Giveaway 2026 launched three weeks ago by the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and plan to give away a total of £250,000.

The Jane Tomlinson Appeal has previously awarded significant amounts to many charities and projects. Tomlinson raised a total of £1.85 million for charity while suffering from cancer herself, including running the London Marathon three times. She was awarded a CBE for her fundraising, which was collected from Buckingham Palace after her death by her son.

Her husband, Mike Tomlinson, said on the Big Charity Giveaway 2026: “We would especially like to hear from charities that work with children or cancer patients and their families.”

He continued: “Jane was passionate about helping others and, with the Big Charity Giveaway 2026, we can continue that legacy.”

Applicants must request a grant for a specific project, and have charitable status. Application forms are available at http://www.janetomlinsonappeal.com.
