Diogo Jota has sustained a foot injury after Liverpool’s 2-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanders.

His injury is currently under review after missing training as a precaution.

This may prevent him to play tomorrow night’s game against Bologna in Liverpool’s second match in the Champions League.

His assist to Ibrahima Konaté helped secure Liverpool’s position, where they now sit at the top of the Premier League.

Daniel Johnson, Liverpool season ticket holder, said: ‘I don’t see Liverpool struggling without Diogo Jota as they have the main form force of Mohammed Salah and Luiz Diaz who is goal contributing a lot more this season.

“As well as the likes of Gakpo who was firing at the Euros in the summer and has been very impactful off the bench this season’.

Diaz is thriving this season scoring five goals in the Premier League positioning him 3rd overall for goal scorers. Gakpo has also made an impressive start scoring two goals in his last game.
