Deprivation, poverty and misinformation could be fuelling violence against asylum seekers.
The Suites Hotel in Knowsley, which has been housing asylum seekers mainly from Afghanistan, became the scene of a violent incident on February 10, which left many shaken.

Police appeal over missing teen from Merseyside
A Merseyside teenager who was seen last Thursday (February 23) is still missing and police are concerned for her safety.
