Police are looking for a man in connection with a robbery at a Liverpool city centre cash machine.

Detectives have issued CCTV images today (Wednesday 29th April) of a man who could assist with their enquiries following the incident,  which occurred just after midnight on Tuesday 14th April.

A man using a cash machine outside Sainsbury’s on Elliot Street was approached by two men who intimated they had a knife.

The men then pushed him out of the way and withdrew a large quantity of money from his bank account.

Police attended the scene and the 29-year-old victim was not injured during the incident.

The following day a man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident, however the investigation continues to find other suspects.
