A man from Kirkby has been jailed for supplying class A drugs in St Helens.

Jack Swanson, 32, of Park Road admitted he had a part in supplying drugs after police found £10,000 in cash, cannabis, cocaine, scales and multiple burner phones in his home.

He was jailed for three years and eight months at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, November 24.

Detective Sergeant Peter Sloan said: “Swanson clearly thought he could supply drugs in our communities, but thankfully he got a knock on the door from our officers.

“He’s now in prison where he belongs and I hope he spends his time reflecting on the damage his actions have on the most vulnerable people in society.

“Drug dealers have absolutely no regard for anyone other than themselves. They are a massive blight to our communities where drugs are closely linked to serious violence, often involving firearm and knife crime.”

Anyone with information about drug dealing or the use or storage of weapons in their community can contact Merseyside Police via their website .
