A life-sized spitfire made from crochet has been installed in Southport.
The art work located in the Town Hall Gardens on Lord Street, was create by communities across Merseyside, including The Royal British Legion, Southport Hookers and Merseyside Polonia.
The project took eight months to create and each individual crochet square took 10 hours to complete.
