The ICEBOX event is returning on 17th November this year.
The event ties in with the festive season approaching, as the ice skating rink appears again in the Baltic Market.
It proved popular last year, with approximately 10,000 people skating at BOXPARK.
The organisers of the event hope to attract around 20,000 people for the event this year.
Joel, General Manager at BOXPARK, has said ICEBOX won’t be exactly the same this year, so skater’s can expect a few changes ahead of the winter event.
These changes include a 30% increase in size of the actual ice skating rink, and also an implementation of a “Grotto-Style” bar area with various festive themed activities to encompass the festive spirit. Joel hopes these changes help the guests’ experiences.
Joel has said he hopes for the return of ICEBOX next year, which would make the event run for a consecutive three years.
