A new food app has landed in Liverpool, rewarding foodies with cashback for eating out.
Dining app Shuffle is already making waves, claiming to have returned over £10,000 to users since its launch.
The company plans to invest £3 million into Liverpool’s food and drink sector, with the aim of encouraging residents and visitors alike to dine out more while directly supporting the city’s vibrant network of restaurants, cafés, and bars.
The rewards platform works differently from traditional loyalty schemes.
Rather than offering points or credit, it gives users cashback every time they eat or drink at one of its list of partner venues across the city.
The app includes favourites such as Belzan, Maray, Bold Street Coffee, Ma Boyle’s, Petit Café, Madre, Arts Bar and Junkyard Golf Club.
Junkyard golf employee, Erin Hanlon, said: “Shuffle’s been great for local spots like ours, it’s not just about giving people discount, its about encouraging them to explore Liverpool’s food and drink scene again and support independent businesses.”
She continued: “We’ve had quite a few customers coming in mentioning the app, people seem genuinely excited that they can get money back whilst enjoying themselves. Its great for them and its great for us, so its a win-win.”
Shuffle users need to download an app, follow a setup process, and then pay as normal with their regular bank card at participating venues.
Cashback is then automatically credited to their account, with average savings hovering around 20%.
