A body has been found in Camp Hill, Woolton Woods this morning, police have confirmed.
The incident is being treated as “unexplained” but is not initially believed to be suspicious.
Merseyside Police officers cordoned off the area early this morning (Wednesday, March 13) and are now carrying out enquiries.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “At around 7.45am this morning, the body of a man was found in Woolton Woods and Camp Hill, off School Lane. He was sadly pronounced deceased.”
Police have remained at the scene. Updates to follow.
