Three charities have banded together in hopes of restoring the currently empty buildings on Hilbre Island in West Kirby.

The redevelopment has plans to create a centre for artists and educational study areas.

The Hilbre Island management committee has given their approval but they’re waiting on the local authorities to grant a long lease on the buildings.
