Royal Flagship HMS Queen Elizabeth is expected to arrive in Liverpool later today.
The Queen Elizabeth, along with its sister ship the HMS Prince of Wales, is the largest and most powerful aircraft carrier in the Royal Navy.
The ships weighs over 65,000 tonnes. Its flight deck is 280 meters long with enough space for 3 football pitches.

This will be the second visit by a boat of this size after the visit of its sister ship the HMS Prince of Wales in February 2020.
They are expected to be docked in the city for the next few days as it makes its way down to Portsmouth down from Scotland.
