Michael Smith, Dave Chisnall and Stephen Bunting are all in action today at Players Championship 30 in Barnsley.

The prize money for winning the tournament is £75’000, which Irishman, Brendan Dolan, swept up yesterday as he defeated Ian White in the final of Players Championship 29.

At the conclusion of Players Championship 30, the top 64 players on the 2019 Players Championship Order of Merit will secure their place in the Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals. The finals take place from the 22nd-24th November at Butlin’s Minehead Resort.

‘Chizzy’ reached the last 16 of Players Championship 29 yesterday, and will be hoping to get further today. The St Helens man defeated fellow Merseyside arrow smith, Stephen Bunting, on his way to the last 16.

Today’s line-up includes world number one Michael Van Gerwen, former World Champion, Gary Anderson and many more top players in the world of darts. Our three Merseyside players will be hoping to win the £75’000 prize fund, as well as securing their place in the Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals in November.
