Merseyside Police have confirmed that a 26-year-old woman has died following a collision on March 1st.
The collision took place on Court Hey Road, Huyton, at around 12:45 pm between an off-road bike and a pedestrian.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and treated the woman for serious injuries before taking her to a hospital.
She died of her injuries on Friday 5th March.
Officers have informed her next of kin and are offering their support.
The rider of the bike, a 29-year-old man, remains in hospital where he is being treated for his wounds.
The hospital describes his condition as serious but stable.
Police are continuing an investigation into the crash.
