Students spoke of the difficulties they’ve faced in finding work in Liverpool, claiming an emphasis on a lack of experience being one of the key factors.
University of Liverpool student Charlie Telfer said “Two of my housemates couldn’t find a job for the first two years of their degree because they had no previous experience”.
Amy O’Rourke, another Liverpool student, wants the Government to do more. She said: “I think they need to open up more entry level roles and make sure they are going to people that are actually entry level.”
