Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Bootle in September. They have issued CCTV images of four men who could have information or saw the attack happen.
The attack was reported to police at around 9:35pm on Saturday September 24 after a man aged around 50 was struck by another man on Wadham Road, Bootle. The man was taken to hospital after the attack and was treated for a broken jaw.
These photos were issued out by the police to help track the four men down.
Officers have been carrying out in-depth investigations since the attack by analysing CCTV footage to try and identify anyone involved.
Detective Inspector Matt Kerr said: “We think the men pictured may have vital information that could help an ongoing police investigation.
“Although the men pictured are not clearly identifiable in these photos, I would like to appeal directly to them and anyone who was on Wadham Road on Saturday night 24th September and may have seen what happened to come forward.
“I would also like to reassure these men that they are not in trouble and any information they give from that night could really support our enquiries.”
