A new exhibition is open this week, aiming to showcase local artistic talent.

Titled “The Space We Share”, the exhibition has been organised by members of the “Still Growing Collective”, a group of nine local artists.

Located within the Palm House in Sefton Park, the exhibition is designed to showcase the variety of works by local artists.

It is the first time this event is running.

James Hallinan, one of the artists, said: “The Space We Share creates a unique opportunity for artists to reach wider audiences by exhibiting work in a setting where art is not usually encountered.”

He continued: “By placing creativity in a location deeply significant to the people of Liverpool, the project highlights the essential role art plays in everyday life and community identity”.

The Palm House is celebrating two anniversaries this year, with multiple events taking place.

Some of the art featured is for sale, giving visitors an opportunity to take home any works that catch their eye.

The exhibition will run until the 19th of February, and is free entry for all.
