Tickets for this year’s Liverpool Book Festival are close to selling out according to organisers.

The event, held at BoxPark in Cain’s Brewery Village, will take place on Sunday the 8th of March and will run from 11am-5pm.

The festival, which returns for the second time, features over 60 authors who will be selling their books directly, including bestselling authors Caroline Corcoran and Jane Costello.

There will be a wide range of Celebrity guest authors also, such as Ricky Tomlinson, Stan Boardman and SAS hero Rusty Firmin.

Ticket prices vary between £17.50 for standard and £40 for the VIP option, as well as a cheaper ticket option for children.

A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to two different charities who have partnered with this event, those being The Lord Mayor of Liverpool’s Charity Fund and Y Kids, who are based in Bootle.

The first Liverpool Book Festival took place last September and had around 1000 people in attendance, with a similar turnout expected for this event.
