With tourism now worth over £6bn to the Liverpool City Region these awards are a celebration of our city region’s thriving tourism industry and its enormous contribution to our economy. Year on year the support for the awards continues to grow as businesses recognise the value of being involved. In particular, it is pleasing to see support for the two new categories – Accessible & Inclusive Tourism and the International Tourism Award. Special thanks go to our experienced panel of judges who have had a difficult job in shortlisting this year as the quality of entries have been so high.”
The Pullman Hotel has been named one of six regional establishments to be shortlisted for the Hotel of the Year awards in 2025, opening up exciting new opportunities and providing the staff with the recognition it deserves. The hotel along with the other contenders will be go through two rounds, where they will be judged by individuals who come from different backgrounds including marketing and training professionals, senior business leaders, as well as sustainability experts.
Neil Brailsford, General Manager of The Pullman said: “The team here are amazing and I think there’s a couple of reasons for the award, I think ultimately it’s everyone’s hard work, it all about what the people do to contribute. To get nominated for an award is brilliant because not only does it give a real boost to the team it also gives everyone recognition for all the hard work, because hotels are hard work, we never close were open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. These awards also help in terms of the hotel, we can promote it, we can put it on websites, we can use it in our literature and ultimately it helps in terms of attracting customers as well.
