Liverpool’s Community Grocery is a non-profit organisation which aims to bridge the gap between food banks and supermarkets.
It is run by national award-winning charity The Message Trust in partnership with local churches including the Hillsong Church on Merseyside.
In recent years, Liverpool, like many cities nationwide, has suffered from the COVID pandemic which has led to a rise in food insecurity and financial uncertainty for many.
Liverpool Community Grocery has proved to be a lifeline for individuals and families facing food scarcity. Members only have to pay an annual fee of £5 to gain access to the grocery and other support services.
