Police have arrested two teenagers following a robbery in Liverpool which left a boy with serious injuries.
Merseyside Police received a report of a robbery at around 4pm on Sunday November 26 on Otterspool Promenade.
Two boys, 15, were approached by five masked males, who assaulted the teenagers and stole their electric bike.
A 17-year-old and 18-year-old have now been arrested on suspicion of robbery, they were taken to a nearby police station and later bailed with conditions.
Detective Inspector Chris Carlin said: “Although two arrests have been made, our officers are continuing to investigate and find anyone who was responsible for this crime which left a teenage boy with serious injuries.
”We are appealing to anyone who was on Otterspool Promenade near Festival Gardens on Sunday 26th November at around 4pm and saw this incident to please come forward. Similarly if you saw any of the men involved during or after the incident please contact the police.”
