A Mini Record Fair was hosted in St Luke’s Church grooving out the cloudy aura of a grey March day.
Just as the ‘Bombed out Church’ rose from the ashes after years of oblivion, vinyl is back on track.
Last year, vinyl sales in the UK were the highest since the 90s and continue to grow.
‘Spotify? No!’ – said Carl Mcintyre, local record shop owner
Audiophiles could enjoy a day filled with a vast selection of records, the doors of the church were open for the public and an array of drinks and snacks were on offer – all while spinning vinyl.
