Police have launched an appeal after a man was stabbed in Liverpool city centre.
The attack occurred on February 4 at around 11:30pm near the McDonalds on Ranleigh Street.
The victim, who was in his 20s, received a stab wound to his arm, following an attempt to intervene in a fight between two unknown men, who fled from the scene after.
Detectives investigating the incident released the following image of a man they would like to talk to.
Detective Inspector Chris Saidi said: “We are keen to trace the man pictured as we believe he could have information which is vital to our enquiries.
“There would have been a lot of people inside the premises during this time, so if you witnessed this incident please come forward and help us to remove dangerous weapons and those who use them from our streets.
“Whether you let us know directly, or anonymously, through Crimestoppers, please contact us and we will take action.”
