Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre is reopening its doors to visitors next month and to mark their return are hosting a range of festive shows for fans to enjoy over the Christmas period.
The theatre over on Hanover Street has been undertaking a relaunch after new management, Epstein Entertainments Ltd, took over.
The venue is due to reopen on Friday Third December with The Martini Lounge and their Christmas Cabaret: Liverpool’s largest and longest running cabaret and burlesque show which turns 15 in 2022.
They will also be holding a workshop in the Epstein Bar on the Fourth December alongside their mistress of ceremonies, Millie Dollar who is promising the best in burlesque and variety from across the world with their show.
This will be followed by David Knopov, accompanied by special guest Connie Lush, performing his ‘Perfectly Frank: Swinging Sinatra Christmas Show’.
David is one of the world’s most authentic performers of Frank Sinatra’s timeless classics, and his shows have even been visited by many famous faces including Her Majesty the Queen and the King of Greece.
The reopening weekend for the theatre will be concluded on Fifth December by Gerry Marsden tribute show ‘I Like It: The Ultimate Tribute to Gerry Marsden and The Swingin’ 60s’.
Amongst these the venue will also be jam-packed full of live entertainment including tribute shows, ‘The Best of Queen’ and ‘ABBA Forever’ as well as a comedy Christmas show where many comedic geniuses are set to collab for a night of laughter in Liverpool.

“Whether you’re a fan of fantastic live music, comedy, or cabaret and burlesque, there’s something on the programme you won’t want to miss. It’s an ideal opportunity to dress up and join friends or family for a night out at a great live show.”
Beauty and the Beast are back
And the theatre is also bringing back their beloved pantomime, Epstein Panto, with Beauty and the Beast.
This will run from 19 December to January 9 with Emmerdale and Hollyoaks soap star Ben Richards set to appear as Gaston.
He will be performing alongside Lauren McCrory as Belle, Lewis Devine as French Frank and Jamie Greer as Potty Polly.
