Liverpool museums have paid out £39,415 in the last five years due to injuries.

National Museums of Liverpool are responsible for The World Museum, International Slavery Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery, Maritime Museum, Sudley House, the Walker Art Gallery and the Museum of Liverpool.

Incidents at these venues have been responsible for the pay outs.

A spokesperson for The Taxpayers Alliance said “The taxpayer alliance is disappointed to hear about the amount of taxpayer money being paid out for avoidable incidents, but we understand the need for justice for victims.”
