Two musical legends are set to rock Anfield stadium next summer, it has been announced.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band are coming to Liverpool on Wednesday June 4.

The Born To Run star will also play gigs in Manchester Co-op arena on May17 and 20 next year.

If this isn’t exciting enough for you, then it was announced yesterday that music icon Billy Joel will also be playing Anfield next summer.

The Piano man will make a grand return to Liverpool on Saturday June 21 after an absence of 45 years.

The show will be extremely exclusive as this is only one of two dates that the American singer is playing in Europe next year.

It was revealed last month that British pop star Dua Lipa will also headline in Anfield next year.

The flurry of gig announcements has led fans to ask, do we have Taylor Swift to thank for this surge in artists coming to Liverpool ?

In June, the pop princess had three unbelievable sold-out shows in Liverpool, which brought a lot of positive coverage to Anfield.

Hopefully this continues and the city gets to see more incredible artists perform at an even more incredible stadium.
