For 5 days in December Rudy’s pizza, Liverpool Bold Street, collaborated with Cash for Kids where customers were able to bring a unopened boxed toy, teddy in exchange for a pizza of their choice.
On the dates of the 2nd of December to the 6th of December Rudy’s allowed the trade from the times of 12pm to 5pm.
The charity Cash for Kids, Bauer media’s charity, aims to bring Christmas joy to every child in numerous different ways including the pizza toy swap and other events like dinners or their fundraisers that take place annually.
Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana – Bold Street, on their Facebook, said: “A big thankyou to all our amazing guests who supported us last week with our toy swap for pizza charity initiative!”
“As a site, we collected over 600 toys!! And combined together all of the Rudy’s sites collected over 6000 toys which will certainly make a big difference this Christmas.”
“All collected toys will be heading over to Cash for Kids Liverpool and North Wales and distributed to those in need. Merry Christmas”
