Stepping back in time and bringing the 90’s to Toxteth TV studios, Facts has partnerships with VidoOdessey.
Two iconic classics, ‘Pump up the Volume and Kicking and Screaming’ were screened back to back showcasing what sculpted the 90’s youth culture.
What was once an empty studio, has now encapsulated the last decade of the 20th Century. From the beeping of Pac Man in the arcade room, to the fuzz of the tape on the screen, subtle touches really made what was once in the past a reality.
Facts is the Uk’s leading centre for art, film and the usage of art and technology to creative collaborative areas for artists to come together and work. With funding from Film Hub North, Lewis Eyles, film, and events officer at Facts talks about what they are available to achieve in the city region.

The sofa seating was a nice touch with an relaxing and chilled vibe. Sophie Haslam said, “I wanted an alternative to just going out in Liverpool and the price made it more affordable to come along and watch.” The event was very welcoming, and Facts made sure the audience had the best experience. They were very encouraging with getting everyone involved and even letting a member of the crowd go upstairs and start the films by pushing the VHS into the machine to get the film rolling.
