Pop legend Maureen Nolan will be dancing her way into St Helens as the Wicked Queen this Christmas.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs starts at St Helens Theatre Royal, in Corporation Street, on November 30 and runs until Saturday, January 12 2025.

The Nolan Sisters favourite was announced as the villian last week at the launch at the Liverpool Hilton Hotel, alongside Coronation Street’s Emrhys Cooper playing Prince Fredrick and Leanne Campbell, a radio presenter for regional Breakfast Show on Hits Radio, digitally playing the Magic Mirror.

Panto director and St Helens Theatre Manager Chantelle Nolan says: “I’m really excited to welcome the wonderful Maureen Nolan to the Regal Entertainments panto family. She was due to appear in our production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears at Easter 2020, but unfortunately, we all know what happened then. It’s great that she is finally able to join us for some festive fun.”

“With a brilliant soundtrack, colourful costumes and a stunning set, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs promises to make Christmas this year the fairest of them all.”

Actor, singer, dancer and film maker Emrhys Cooper who was currently seen as cult leader Rowan Cunliffe in Coronation Street said: “I’m happy to be back in England and back to singing, dancing and acting.”
