This weekend LIMF Academy, a well-established musical organisation, hosted a two-day show based in the Baltic Triangle at District, to celebrate their success over the past decade.
It was also an opportunity to showcase the talents that have been produced over that period.
On October 12, they had a line up of past and current artists who took to the stage to perform and display what they had been working on since joining the Academy.
This was followed the next day by a more intimate event that enabled students and participants to engage with one another and express their opinions about shaping the music industry.
LIMF Academy has supported over 5,000 upcoming and talented artists since it first began in 2013.
The academy hosts events in various locations within Liverpool for their aspiring musicians, where they are given the opportunity to showcase their talents to live audiences.
On the Saturday MerseyNewsLive attended the event at the Baltic Triangle to see what the showcase had to offer and found that although it was quite early in the day, the atmosphere was already brilliant.
The artists who performed had great sets with beautiful vocals from both the lead and backing singers and were supported by talented musicians playing drums, keyboard and guitars.
They played many impressive original songs they had written themselves over the course of their musical careers, all of which the audience responded to. This was seen clearly by how interactive the audience were, adding to the great atmosphere.
Overall, it was a weekend full of spectacular talent and it was inspiring to see the number of up-and-coming artists Liverpool has to offer.
