An investigation is underway in West Derby after a man in his 40s was found dead.
The emergency services were called to an address on Muirhead Avenue at around 1:40am this morning (Tuesday), where the man had been found with injuries. He later died in hospital.
Police cars and forensics at the scene cordoned off a block of flats.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath said: “Our investigation is very much in its early stages, so I’d appeal to anyone with information to come forward with a matter of urgency.”
