People have been warned after Lime Street Station have announced closure this weekend.
The reason for the closure on Sunday is for signalling and track upgrades, marked as essential for the train station. Safety measures mean it will have to remain shut for the whole day with a bus replacement service in operation.
This also includes any trains travelling into Liverpool Lime Street – however shops and businesses on the concourse will be unaffected during this time.
Unlike Lime Street, Central Station, Moorfields and James Street stations remain open this weekend.
Rail timetables should be back to normal by Monday.
