Liverpool is gearing up to host the UK premiere of a stunning immersive show which highlights the masterpieces of Vincent Van Gogh, bringing them to life through a thrilling cinematic multimedia experience.
‘Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience,’ produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, is set to grace the Exhibition Centre on the famous Liverpool Waterfront from June 27-July 14.
The exhibition has already been seen by more than five million people across the United States and Canada. It is now coming to the UK, offering a blend of over 300 post-impressionist paintings, cutting-edge technology, and a specially curated musical soundtrack to tell the compelling life story of one of history’s most influential artists.
Expect to be taken on a journey through the world of Van Gogh from darkness to light, enhanced by his thoughts, dreams, and worlds set to a stirring symphonic score. This multimedia narrative experience aims to appeal to a new generation of artists, creating a bridge between the past and present.
Visitors can wander through Van Gogh’s most famous and celebrated pieces, such as ‘The Starry Night,’ ‘Sunflowers,’ and ‘Terrance Of a Café at Night.’
The exhibition starts in the Introduction Hall inside the Exhibition Centre, where visitors can connect with the artist through his personal letters he wrote to his brother, and greatest supporter, Theo.
The heart of the exhibition lies in the Immersive Room, where Van Gogh’s paintings are freed from their frames, dominating the space, and immersing the audience through the incredible detail of his work.
